Salar & Co.

Customer reviews, read in full and written up in plain language.

Many small brands have hundreds of reviews and no time to read them properly.

Salar & Co. reads each one against the same checklist and sends back a report on what customers praise, what lowers their rating, and what might be worth changing.

You get in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis.

What the report covers

Each review is read on its own, not sorted by star rating alone. The report looks at four things.

  1. Who is writing and whether the review reads as genuine.
  2. Why they bought and whether they came back.
  3. What they praised, what they compared, and what they wished had been different.
  4. A note on "what's not there".
  5. Then a short section on what the owner might consider doing about it.

Every client receives two documents.

  1. The first is an executive summary of one to three (1-3) pages with the main findings and recommendations.
  2. The second is a source document of ten to fifteen (10-15) pages with the full analysis.

The summary refers to the source document by page and data point, so every claim can be traced back to the reviews.

A sample report covers up to 10 reviews.

Keep in mind:

The report is written for the business owner, not for a data team.

Figures are given as direction, and it says plainly where the sample is too small to draw a firm conclusion.

How it works

  1. Send the reviews

Export them from your store or review platform, or copy them into a spreadsheet. Fifty is a good start.

  2. Each review is read

Every review goes through the same checklist. Nothing is scraped or scored by a tool alone.

  3. Receive the report

You get a written report that covers each section in plain language.

What we need from you

The reviews, in whichever form is easiest for you: an Excel sheet, a JSON file, or a Google Doc.

If that isn't possible, I can collect them myself, as long as you give me permission to do so.

An area of focus or a question. For example, why ratings dropped after a certain date, or which product to look at first.

About

Salar & Co. is run by one person, Salar.

The work is careful and slow by design. Each review gets the same attention, whether it is one line or several paragraphs.

Clients are kept to a small number at a time so the reports can be read properly and questions can be answered.
